Wine Cellars
Select the Right Wine Cellar Design For YOU!
To learn what may be the best option for storing your wine, it's important to know the answer to these questions: (1) How many bottles of wine do you need (or want) to conveniently store in your home? and (2) What is a wine cellar, with ideal conditions?

If you want to have an adequate supply of 12 to 52 bottles of wine, then the type of wine cellar you need is a Wine Cooler, also known as Mini Cellar or Wine Refrigerator.

For households with a larger collection of wines, a Wine Credenza, Free Standing Wine Cabinet, or a full size condition-controlled Wine cellar is warranted.

To further clarify, Credenzas are what we consider as wine furniture, with a style similar to a Buffet, and may hold wine bottles, wine glasses and accessories.  These wine furniture cellars will hold between 140 to over 200 bottles (depending on the model).  Free Standing Wine Cabinets – These wine cabinets are also considered to be wine furniture.  However, rather than horizontal, like the Credenza and Buffet, it stands vertically to approximately 6 ft high and 2.5 ft wide, and will hold between 200 and 400+ bottles (depending on the model).

For even larger collections, you will require a Full-Size Wine Cellar in a separate room or basement. This full size wine cellar can be built by a "Do it yourself Handyman" with our Modular Wine Racking Kits, or you may obtain our services for a professionally designed and installed Custom Wine Cellar.  Full-size wine cellars typically range between 5’ X 5’ to 15’ X 20‘, and will hold between 500 and 3,200 bottles.  To browse these different types of "wine cellars", click on image links below.
